Hola! I'm Tana Argüelles (she/ella), your future Latina Sex Doctor. I am currently pursuing a PhD in Human Sexuality Studies at Widener University and hold a B.A. in Psychology and Women's Studies as well as a Master of Social Work from the University of Michigan. As a Latina and a sexuality educator, I understand the unique challenges our community faces in accessing culturally and linguistically relevant information. I am committed to using my expertise and shared identities and lived experiences to create a world where Latinx individuals can embrace their true sexual selves.
With a background in direct services and nonprofit management, I have worked at the intersections of immigration, health, social justice, and sexuality. This experience uniquely positions me to address the barriers to sexual well-being in our community, while centering pleasure, culture, and anti-oppression principles.
